Web services and sites could not function smoothly without integrating known systems used in day-to-day operation with the project back-end. In our case, integration with BlazingCDN is simple and requires no special skills. What exactly does it look like for Joomla?

Joomla is an open-source solution that functions as a CMS content management system. It is used by nearly 3% of all websites. Joomla convinces with several advantages:

  1. It is available for free.
  2. You can easily edit it knowing the fundamental programming commands (open source).
  3. The CMS is supported by numerous plugins and templates, making it much easier to create a website that best suits our project.

You already know that you can gain a lot by using this service. So how do you combine BlazingCDN with Joomla to speed up page loading speed? Remember to start with securing your assets. Therefore, it is a smart move to set back up the database and all necessary files.

You can integrate by using the BlazingCDN domain – cdn00000000.blazingcdn.net. For domains with HTTPS, it is important to activate the SSL protocol. However, for non-standard resources, it will be necessary to include CORS (read more about it here [link]). Also, create a BlazingCDN Static [link] service to complete the process. Then follow the steps below:

  • install the CDN plugin for Joomla and then activate the plugin in the settings,
  • turn on the plugin and enter your CDN domain, then save.
