How to integrate BlazingCDN and Drupal

Internet projects work efficiently and effectively, even for people who do not have a large technical background. This is thanks to ready-made systems that allow you to navigate the virtual world better. One of them is Drupal. How can you connect BlazingCDN with Drupal to speed up loading your resources and reach the recipient faster with your offer?

Drupal is a typical CMS, i.e., a content management system. Its services are used by almost 2% of all websites. Its advantages include:

  • High level of security and data encryption.
  • Scaling to many thousands of pages (eagerly chosen for complex websites).
  • It has a lot of expandability as your project develops.

The whole picture is quite favorable. So how do you integrate BlazingCDN with Drupal? Remember about the first mandatory step, which is backing up your resources and files. The integration can be done using the BlazingCDN domain – cdn00000000.blazingcdn.net. For domains with HTTPS, it is important to activate the SSL protocol. However, you will need to include CORS (read more here [link]). Also, create a BlazingCDN Static [link] service to complete the process. In the next stage:

  • install and activate the CDN plugin for Drupal in the settings,
    drupal 1
  • Click the Configure link and in the mapping view select simple mapping and fill in your domain cdn00000000.blazingcdn.net
    drupal 2
  • In the Status view, select Enabled and that’s it.
  • Remember to set Origin Pull in the plugin settings in Drupal in the Mode section
    drupal 3
