As part of its services, BlazingCDN also offers Secure Sockets Layer, the popular SSL protocol. It secures the network communication between the user and the service. The interaction takes place precisely between the web browser and the server, where the connection is additionally encrypted in the form of an SSL certificate. The use of this solution allows you to secure sensitive data, usually required for logging. These include passwords, e-mails, contact details, or bank details. Without this encryption, there is a greater risk of hijacking this data, most often in the form of a MITM attack.
What is SSL?
The SSL protocol is a small piece of information that serves as a key that ensures the domain address’s credibility and the owner of a given service (it cannot be spoofed in real-time). This way, a secure connection is established between the server and the browser. The whole process happens in the blink of an eye. How do I manage SSL in BlazingCDN? Log in to the customer panel, find the Anycast CDN menu and then Pull Zone List.
After changing the view, select the list you are interested in from the available variants you have created.
The List Management Panel appears. Select the Domains list section, then click Custom SSL.
The protocol installation window will appear. Enter the SSL certificate and private key to enable a secure connection.
